: a contemporary exhibition advertisement published by Grundy & Smith's Gallery, Manchester.  Sir Joseph Noel Paton's latest picture "IN DIE MALO" (Faith arming the Christian Warrior) reviewed in the Daily Review, 5th April, 1882, together with Anderson's poem "FAITH ARMING THE CHRISTIAN WARRIOR", which was inspired by the painting.
